Worked better than i could have hoped. In the first two days we ground 158 stumps. They were mostly pine from 2 inch to 12 inch diameter. It handled a 24 inch 30 inch stump just as easily as the smaller ones. Just have to watch your forward speed to keep the grinder from bouncing but if you take your time it cuts like butter. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast.

I am a beginner sawyer, took my time with the research on a mill and decided on the hm126. Right out of the box, things looked a little confusing. As long as you follow the steps included in the manual,set up will go easy. Would also recommend talking the time to place the mill on a solid level surface. Highly recommend this mill to anyone with wooded acreage.

Love this stump grinder! I have an LS 3540 manual shift 40HP Tip! Make sure your bottom arms are as stif as you can adjust so the unit doesn’t pulsate side to side and it will work fantastic! Tampa Florida
