I've had the HM126 for a couple months now. Honestly, I think it works great for the money. I've ruined one blade because the copper nozzle wasn't bent correctly and wasn't dripping the coolant onto the blade. The blade got hot, lost its tension and jumped off. The second blade I ruined because I reset the tension after about 20 minutes of milling....I don't suggest doing that. Set it once and forget it. I checked the tension and it was a little loose, after I reset it the blade promptly came flying off and shear a bunch of teeth. That was my fault. The Kohler 14hp engine is a beast, albeit a little cold natured and hard to start. But once its running, it does a fine job. Make sure you turn the air snorkel to the cold setting when its cold outside, that helps a lot. I got the cover too. The cover does the job, could be tailored a little better , as when it rains, water pools up on the top and it sits between the green control panel and the engine. If it was a little more form fitting, the water could run off without pooling. I've soaked my pants twice getting the water off the cover. The machine runs well, cuts well. I've done Cedar, Ash and Locust so far. Very happy with the result. I will be purchasing the track extension, and the trailer. I highly suggest anyone reading this review, to go ahead and get the track extension, cover, cant hook and pack of blades. The tip of the cant hook bent on me, but the rest of the hook is built well. I took the tip, bent it back and heat treated it. So far its been fine after that. Woodland mills might spend a minute thinking about the cant hook tip and try to reproduce the bending I got. Could just be a one off issue I had. I am a mechanical designer, and have designed Automation equipment for John Deere, Case, Volvo, CAT, and have designed Firearm parts for Remington Arms. I approve the HM126 whole heartedly, and I especially APPROVE Woodland Mills customer service. Top notch, bar none, Melissa is a sweetheart. Pay her more!!!

Awesome little mill! It may not have all the hydraulic bells and whistles as a much more expensive machine but for the price it can't be beat. Cut quality and accuracy is top notch. My 14 year old daughter and I have been milling up a storm to make lumber for my workshop, it's great to see her take so much pride in working.

I have my mill setup and it works perfect. I did not get to use it much had to build a shelter over it to keep the bad weather away. Shipping was really fast the only problem I had was missing six nuts for adjusting legs minor and it's hard to find good logs in my end of Nova Scotia. Thanks to everyone at Woodland Mills.
