I am so pleased with my new mill. When it came in I couldn't wait to get it set up. Set up was pretty straight forward, and the instructions were easy to follow. I would have liked more info on what to use for footings or a base. I went with 2X6 pt a double rail, and double footings at each adjustable foot. Thought with all the rain we have had the place I set up in is now a bit muddy, leveling was easy too! I have cut 4 logs so far from 10" to about 22" x 12'. I and building a deck to pre load logs, and cut 6X6 pine for this. I plan to build a shed 12'X12" for it to store accessories, and keep the cutting head out of the rain and snow. The blade that comes with it is great too, it was a Lenox blade, and cut very smooth, clean and quick. I did have an issue in that, I accelerated while the blade was touching the log and threw the blade, cleaving off 4 teeth. I finished the log with that blade, and put a different blade on the next day. I will be buying the blades from Woodland as they were better, and cut smoother and faster. I would recommend getting the extra length of track right away, and if you have the budget, also the trailer. I will be getting a trailer, so I can go to the wood when needed, but I just like to be ready for anything. All in al I feel this was a good investment, well built, and easy to use. You should however consider all the things you may need to get and load logs on your mill, as well as where you can use it. This is a heavy piece of equipment and you will need to be resourceful to set it up! It is a great feeling to take logs that were going to become firewood, and turn them into hundreds of dollars worth of lumber.

Mill has been working great. By far the best mill for the money. Thank you to all the Woodlandmills staff.

Mill arrived a day sooner than expected, but trucker had alerted me ahead of time. Only problem was the delivery truck's lift gate wouldn't work at our site. Unloaded with forks on my front end loader and about maxed out the tractor since I ordered the track extensions, box of blades and a cant hook. Everything was in the 'box' and went together easily. I am impressed with the quality considering the purchase price. Had a little trouble fine tuning the blade tracking (very touchy), but cut enough lumber so far to side a tractor shed and part of my shop. Since I have 20 acres (8 ha.) of red pine plantation to thin, I will be cutting mostly pine for the next 8 to ten years. Already have a request to cut board and batten siding for a local sporting goods shop. Looking forward to many hours at the hm126. Thank you for producing such a great little mill.

Does all we ask of it, easy to set-up durable, well built and functions great. Have used it very often over the past 6 months. The engine uses minimal gasoline in my mind as well. Love the machine.

My woodland mill works very well and has added an entirely new dimension to my woodworking and the husbandry of our land. Timber that previously ended up as firewood is now drying to become furniture, etc for our children and grandchildren. It was a great investment. Well made and engineered. The videos on the website are very helpful as well. I would recommend the product to anyone.

I bought this mill because I've about 12 acres of wooded land that I can use to make boards for barn siding, fencing, etc. This mill is fantastic. The bandsaw wheels are a little temperamental when first getting it setup, and then it works like a champ. Their customer support has been incredibly helpful as well. Definitely worth the money.
