If you purchase an extended version (XL or XL trailer) it is useful to place a 3e logclamp. Also fine saw, well adjustable to thickness and height. If you have a cover than put on the ruler a wooden block otherwise the yardstick will go through the sail. gr Erik Berben Netherlands

Fun to assemble due to good quality in material and well thought functions. Now when I used it a summer it provided me with nice board. The wheels made it very easy to move around which I did more than expected. And yes homemade feels good:-)

Putting the sawmill together can and was a challenge, but in the end I won and it was complete. Some of the instructions are not as clear as they could be. In the military, we were always told to dumb it down to the lowest level. As a Army Platoon Leader that came in handle and it works! Food for thought. The unit is awesome and works with ease! As for portable, I’m not so sure about that! Lol! It’s heavy and awkward to handle and or move around and you’d for sure want more than yourself to handle that task. If you live on a road with limited access as I do, large semis won’t fit. So I had to meet the delivery truck driver in town and load the unit...904 lbs in my pickup truck! Lol! Not Woodlands issue, but a heads up for all in that situation! Enjoy cutting cause I have once I got it set and running! I really enjoy it!

With a treed lot and a view to protect, there's always trees to knock down. Way more fun to cut your own lumber and beams than chopping it into firewood!

This is the best purchase I have made for a personal toy for years. And it has great construction, very clear and easy to put together and to use, and a highly Dynamic machine. I'm Dreaming up all kinds of future projects

Its absolutely awesome & so easy to use. Its very rewarding to know I have the ability to make my own lumber for small and large projects. I should have done this years ago.
