HM130
2017 HM130 and first project. A shelter for the mill plus a little extra for firewood and lumber storage! Tin goes on today and then more siding to mill. Not sure what everyone without a mill is doing with their time but this is an awesome hobby and has some pretty great side benefits too!!

Not half way through the year and I've milled over 300 cu/ft of timber comprising of Sycamore, Oak, Cherry, Lime, Ash, Elm, Walnut and still more trees booked in to mill. I love this job. I've got twice as much Sycamore to mill before the end of May as well as a large Oak, Cherry and Walnut and 2 huge Sweet Chestnut. Why did I wait so long before getting a bandsaw mill? Think I'm going to become the equivalent to an ex-smoker but in milling terms! This weeks milling produced 50cu/ft of prime & character English oak timber. This is the largest section I've ever had on the mill measuring 30" diameter. Thought it would kill the winch but not a problem, did bend the ramps bit though! Most of the boards have been cut to 30mm for floorboards

Just wanted to let you know we received our new HM130 & absolutely love it. Assembled it the weekend we received it & spent the next couple of weeks harvesting beetle kill from our property in order to get a shed over the saw head prior to winter setting in. Still have to put doors & batons on the shed but love the fact that we harvested milled all the wood for this little project ourselves. Kindest regards T.J. & Janie

Just got my 130 set up recently. Loving it, need to stack more logs. Some Box Elder Maple for a Joiner's Bench The majority of my work involves restoring vintage hand tools, especially axes an other logging equipment for work or display. Feel free to check out my work and contact me if you have any questions. The 130 has really helped me build up my handle blank stash
