Major upgrade from my Alaskan mill!!! I only wish you would make one that cuts wider. I would buy that too.

Great mill for the money. Customer service and overall quality are great. Haven't milled a million board feet yet but only time will tell the true tale. I have been cutting and learning a lot as i go. Great purchase, very pleased so far. There is always a couple of features in all things we buy and use everyday that we wish or think should be better or different but overall experience so far I would give it and the company an 8 on a scale of 1-10.

Putting the sawmill together can and was a challenge, but in the end I won and it was complete. Some of the instructions are not as clear as they could be. In the military, we were always told to dumb it down to the lowest level. As a Army Platoon Leader that came in handle and it works! Food for thought. The unit is awesome and works with ease! As for portable, I’m not so sure about that! Lol! It’s heavy and awkward to handle and or move around and you’d for sure want more than yourself to handle that task. If you live on a road with limited access as I do, large semis won’t fit. So I had to meet the delivery truck driver in town and load the unit...904 lbs in my pickup truck! Lol! Not Woodlands issue, but a heads up for all in that situation! Enjoy cutting cause I have once I got it set and running! I really enjoy it!

My HM130 has been a Godsend for my property. Storms had weakened the thin soil of the property and caused a huge oak tree to tip and threaten our home. The tree was cut and the logs stockpiled against the day that the sawmill was received. All but the largest logs have now been turned into beautiful lumber, drying on racks under wrap. The HM130 was a challenging build and easily operated after being leveled and plumbed. The trailer frame made this unit very easily moved to locations for milling lumber at the stump. Well Done.

With a treed lot and a view to protect, there's always trees to knock down. Way more fun to cut your own lumber and beams than chopping it into firewood!

I have sawn a few logs with it and can say that I am extremely happy with it .I have done a couple of oak and pine logs and am surprised at how well it has cut them. If you are contemplating on buying a sawmill you will not be disappointed with the woodland mills hm122. The cut is pretty smooth and guick you can always use lumber for jobs around the house or the property. 1 issue is all I had,it was a cracked air filter housing and was taken care of really fast it is a solid built machine and should last for years. Thank you woodland mills

After the initial set up and a little practice I am turning out some quality black walnut boards that I use for my craft shop.
