I absolutely love my HM 122. I haven’t been doing much milling as I am busy with other things but I have 50 spruce logs that I plan to use to make a post and beam storage shed with. I have milled enough to know that my mill is running straight and true. Thanks again for a high quality product.

Its absolutely awesome & so easy to use. Its very rewarding to know I have the ability to make my own lumber for small and large projects. I should have done this years ago. Staff has been so helpful and very professional while dealing with a new beginner like me !!!!!! Thank You,Thank You, Thank You The Great Sahara Forest Company

Very pleased with the quick shipment, less than 48 hours from order to delivery, even Amazon shoppers would be impressed. Assembly on the other hand took a bit longer, but that was primarily due to assembling it without helpers. I through a blade a few logs in (mostly black cherry & pine) but that was my own fault for not double checking the tracking before I started cutting. With a new blade on it cuts the black cherry like a hit knife through butter. I am very happy with the performance. I set it up on the driveway concrete pad while I cut the support beams I will need to place it on the ground. No sense purchasing them when I can make them myself :-) One thing that would be nice to have is some tips & tricks on actually using the mill effectivly. The videos are nice to have but written tips are good too. There are lots of documents on line, but one needs to do a fair amount of looking fgor them. Perhaps havving those on the Woodland Mills website would be a good idea. Another issue (at least for me) is getting the cut height correct. The parallax of the magnetic rulers through the gage, especially for someone with try-focal glasses and old eyes is not all the user friendly. I have not found any documented information on number of inches moved per revolution of the winch nor effect of skipping n holes in the winch lock. Seems to me that these would make getting board thicknesses consistent a bit easier. But I love the mill, it has been something I have wanted for years and unfortunately mother nature recently cooperated by blowing down several large trees. Looking forward to building my first piece of furniture from black cherry grown on my own property and milled by me. That will make for special gifts indeed!
