Very happy with my hm130. The mill is well built with heavy duty metal and works very well. It is as described in reviews and online. Great product! Thank you WLM

Just got this up a week or so ago and cut only a few logs so all of the points are on initial setup and first impressions. The Mill is seems well design with a lot of smaller touches that will make things easier to use. Setup was involved but straightforward. A lot of bolting together and tweaking to get it all running right but it is all explained. Some points learned - - The manual is in a plastic container that is bolted to the cutting head assembly, a nice touch. Did not know this though when starting and did the track assembly with no manual, resulting in some mistakes and re-work. Went on line for the manual when working on head unit. Was not until it was almost complete, when the head unit was mounted on the rails that I found the manual. Would be helpful to know right away. - There was a video review of the Mill that mentioned how the head unit had no hard stop and could drift up and down when cutting and the mechanism for holding the motor was weak. Happy to say both items were addressed. There is a slotted wheel with a spring loaded pin to hold the unit. Clap looks solid and seems to be an upgrade from what was in the video. - Used concrete blocks and 2 x 8 to act as a base. Works OK but planning a concrete pad. All the separate, movable bits works and is quick but is fiddly. - Make sure to follow the manual on final setup around tracking and guide adjustments etc. I was impatient to get cutting and assumed it was adjusted out of the gate and ended up with the blade jumping off and getting damaged. Had spares so was able to get going but it cost a blade. - Takes about a full day to get it all setup and going. I did it over a few days - created base, bolted up track, mounted head unit and then adjusted on separate days after work. - You can put this together without the use of a heavy lift system but the shipping container needs to be near where it will be installed. Once the head unit is assembled, it needs to be rolled on small metal track wheels into position then levered onto the track. Plywood or other temp surface is needed as it will not roll in dirt. Tractor or other lift system makes it a lot easier. Rest seemed to go as expected. Once the track is leveled up, a long ladder helps getting this right, it cuts nice and straight. A lot of dogs and clamps on the tack for holding the logs in place is very helpful. Worked with another mill that had just one. Counting the ones that came with the track extension, this has 5 for 16 feet.

It's an awesome sawmill! Has plenty of power for what I'm using it for on the farm such as fence boards and barn repairs. I've only had it for a few months now and it's almost paid for its self already. Great product!

I really like my new HM130 sawmill so far, here are some points you might find helpful: Great experience researching, ordering, and delivery. Excellent website and customer service. Quite easy to assemble, great instruction/user manual included. I took the time to level my set up and the saw cuts straight and true. Excellent value for the money. I ran into only two issues in the assembly: There is a black metal cover that goes over the cable adjustment system behind the dashboard. It is inconvenient to remove this cover to adjust the level of the blade. To be fair, I have not had to make adjustments to the level of the blade after my initial set up (so far). Second issue was the positive battery cable to the engine. The pole is surrounded by several components and impossible to connect to without bending the copper battery cable end 90 degrees. Overall I think the saw is great and I’m happy to deal with the folks at Woodland Mills.

Got my HM126 last month then put in a concrete pad , finally found a day to assemble it,got a helper and glad I did this machine is heavy (well built) it took an entire day to assemble it.we followed the instructions step by step ,I was absolutely amazed at the quality and detail in the design.the next day we put a 12 ft pine log on it and it sawed it smooth as silk. Then I decided to raise it up on blocks to save my back and also make everything more convenient to handle so we sawed 9 in blocks and that did the trick . I’m already sawing for a 10x24ft roof to put over it . My advice to anyone getting this machine is to take your time and follow the assembly instructions carefully and you can’t go wrong with this machine. here’s some pics of what we have
