Highly recommend the hm126, wish I bought it sooner. I use an Alaskan sawmill with a husky 395xp for larger slabs. I’ve got the mill set up on a stone base because my land slopes. I have been milling dimensional lumber, slabs and cookies plus the scrap cuts are great firewood. I’m hoping to build a trailer for the mill this fall/winter and be mobile as everyone has been asking me to turn their log piles into lumber. The quality, design and construction of this mill in my eyes are superb. Just now wish I had a tractor to move the byproducts, my back would thank me. Keep up the great work woodland

really enjoying using this saw is quite well built I have had no real issues at all with it mechanically. would have been great if it would include adjustable leveling feet I have milled around 2000 bf already and it already has paid off half of the mills with boards sold in less than 2 months.

Well. It’s been roughly 6 weeks since I picked up my new HM122. Original setup was a breeze. The assembly instructions were super easy to follow and the entire process took about 3 hours . I’ve since milled lots of live edge slabs from hickory , maple, and ash. I’ve done dimensional lumber from ceader, pine and basswood. This mill has walked tru everything I’ve put in front of it with ease . It’s simple to use , cuts true with no floating whatsoever and is thoroughly enjoyable to operate. I did need to contact WM with one small issue , that isn’t even worth mentioning except to say it was handled imediatly with no questions asked. Great product , great service .

I finally got to use my new Woodland Mills HM130 portable sawmill the other day. Everything arrived very fast, and setup was easy and straightforward thanks to detailed (and accurate) instructions. I have 20 acres with mostly Douglas fir and tamarack (western larch), so I have no trouble finding mill-able timber. All the adjustments on the mill were preset fairly well except for the blade tension, which was expected. I purchased the 6 foot track extension and am able to mill 12 foot (or more) boards which are hard to find and expensive in lumber stores. Just milling two trees has already saved me over a thousand dollars in purchased lumber and travel costs. I'll post pictures later when I get a few projects done after the lumber dries. Great product, and extremely well built with attention to quality control. Thanks to all the helpful folks at Woodland Mills.

I had done quite a lot of research read a lot of reviews talked to a lot of saw mill owners and waited a year longer than I wanted to make this purchase I changed my mind several times about brand and size of mill but eventually quality at a good price point eventually brought me to woodland mills the customers raving about customer service and the quality of the product has not disappointed and I believe living in the area I do there will be a number of woodland sawmills before long I would purchase this mill again and recommend it to every one it is a joy to use and is a game changer for me trying to start a farm

The assembly was a breeze, took only a couple of hours. Everything arrived in great shape with no damage. Have put only about 20 hours on the sawmill and it runs like a champ. Had to adjust the throttle cable a few times to get the rpms high enough to cut. Once we accomplished that the fun began. Have used it to cut cedars into custom poles and trellis systems. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was that the 7 hp Kohler motor really struggles with hardwoods over 16” in diameter. If I were to cut a lot of hardwoods I would do the upgrade to the 14 hp.

After almost a year of planning and researching sawmills I decided on the Woodland Mills HM130--and I'm glad I did. When I mill arrived I was highly impressed with the industrial quality of the materials. Assembly had some challenging moments, the biggest challenge was getting the saw head onto the trailer and aligned for smooth operation. However, technical assistance provided by Gordon was top notch--he's "seen it all." Initially the mill ran like a top; until I decided to saw through a log support--apparently a regular occurrence. Blade tracking was a challenge--the adjust bolt is very fine but once I got it just right the saw was working like new again. For me it was a lot of money but it's money well spent. High quality, great technical support (they actually called me out of the blue to see how things were going with the blade tracking) . . .what more could you ask for?
