By far one of the best tools I have bought for our house. There are a few things woodland could improve but for the money and structural design no company comes close. It sucked ordering one without being to check it out first. Within a week my worries was over. It's a beast wanting to cut. I'm a first time sawyer with no experience and it was very easy to get started and put together. I wish Woodland offered trailers longer than 16' since I wanted to make long beams for my a frame. Problem solved thou, the old lady no longer has a camper.

Working great

Fast shipping and solid shipping crate. Arrived 3 days after I placed the order. Instructions were foolproof. Fabricated trailer with hydraulic surge disk brakes and folding tongue from a scrapped boat trailer. Cut up a huge pile of poplar and aromatic red cedar. Solid, square and smooth cuts through piles of logs. Only issue is too many piles of lumber around the yard now. Building a solar kiln as next project. One last note: Not only was Woodland Mills the best value for the dollar, they gave a military discount where Wood-Mizer and Hudson wouldn’t.

I have sawed aprox. 3000 board feet, logs as large as 30 inch and have had virtually no problems. Now I can use my timber my self instead of selling the logs for practically nothing. Thank You Woodland Mills, Ronnie Coffey

I am 100% pleased with this sawmill. It is everything promised in the literature. It is so simple to use that my children even understand the operation. We thank God for this wonderful addition to our farm. We are sawing lumber to finish out the loft above our garage. This sawmill has already paid for itself . . .

I am very impressed with the HM122. The entire experience with Woodland Mills has been great beginning with the polite and responsive sales team and concluding with cutting up my first couple of logs. My wife and I picked up the mill at the Buffalo warehouse. The folks there were very friendly and helpful in getting the pallet loaded on our trailer. We were extremely impressed with how well everything was packed. The assembly of the mill only took about a day and a half. The instructions were clear and easy to follow using the very nice product manual. (I can’t remember when I last got a manual that was printed on high quality, glossy stock paper, very nice!) Setup lessons learned: * I downloaded the drawings from the website and built a 4x4 base out of pressure treated lumber prior to picking up the mill. Stabilized the base by creating 2x4 “I” beams to lock it all together. This keeps the mill 6 1/2 inches off the ground and enables me easily move the mill with my tractor or to load the mill on my trailer and take it to other locations. * The HM122 doesn’t come with levelers so I used 1/2” carriage bolts to create my own. Let the crown of the bolt fit into the holes in the rail and drilled a hole to receive the extra length of the bolt into my base frame. Also, put 2 1/2” lags on each side to secure the rail assembly to the base. * To verify everything was set up correctly I cut an 8 foot long, 1/16 inch thick slice of the first “cant.” Everyone that has stopped by to see the mill has been impressed with the quality and robustness of the HM122. For a low-end mill, the materials really exceeded my expectations. It is a great product for the price and has proven it will work perfectly for milling hardwoods to support my woodworking hobby as well as creating some construction grade lumber for projects around the property. Great experience, very happy customer!

I love this sawmill! I built a platform to permanently mount my HM122 so that it's always nice and level. She's a great little mill and cuts wood like a champion. Assembly was fairly straightforward and the quality of the parts is outstanding. It feels very heavy duty and I have no doubt that it will last a long time (and many, many logs!). I highly recommend it!

Great mill. Take your time putting it together. Had a couple blades break at the weld. Was using windshield washer fluid to lube but switched to pinesole and haven't had another break yet. Having so much fun. My dad and I went halfs on it and have enjoyed every minute of working with it.
