Love my chipper. Wood with cumbersome limbs is more work, but the machine handles it well. Hopper flip up is a plus. Easily attaches to my compact tractor, 45 horse is well suited for this model. Easy access to the disc blades is a definite plus. I am glad I bought an extra set of blades and belt for this unit. Grateful for the Customer Service support, they were very knowledgeable about this product.

We have 4 acres with a lot of trees. We have gone through one season of pruning fruit trees and knucking back very large mulberry trees with no major issues. Snapped a couple of sheer bolts on some green 4"+ logs so its probably a good thing they are there.

The WC68 is a great chipper but a couple things would make it even better. 1. The top roll pin that mates to my JD's 3-pt hitch upper control arm did not align like my other implements, even non JD implements. I had to fabricate a pair of adjustable 1/4" steel plates with holes to lower the position of the roll pin. I bolted the plates to the side of the housing and all is well. My understanding is that Woodland Mills has since redesigned this part and this is no longer an issue. 2. It would be nice if the threaded shafts on the spring tension eye-bolts were a couple inches longer so that when you get a large branch/log stuck in the chipper, you're able to loosen the nuts sufficiently as to take the tension off the spring so that you can lift the chipper head off of the stuck branch. As it is with the current short-shaft eye bolts, there's not enough threaded shaft to back-off the nuts in order to relieve the tension when a large diameter branch is stuck in the chute. Otherwise, great chipper! I like how the indeed chute can be flipped-up which helps in navigating around trees, etc and takes up much less spaced in my small barn.

This chipper is amazing, I chipped an entire 20" Apple tree in less than 1 hour! I chipped everything up to 6" and 8" branches! I have a 1025 John Deere tractor and with the controls on the feed rate I'm impressed with the amount of wood this thing can handle! This unit is worth every penny! Thank you again for a great product.
