The WG24 is one of the best “tools” I have ever purchased. It just chews through stumps like they are not even there. A simple and effective design makes it very durable. My son and I have ground 5 acres of stumps to make way for a cattle pasture. I am now going back over it chasing the larger roots that had grown above the surface. We had red and white oak, curly bark hickory, pine, cedar and birch. It didn’t phase the stump grinder at all.

I purchased my stump grinder around the first of February 2019. It was delivered within a week down here in South Texas. The metal frame crating and boxing was first class. I mounted it on a Kubota MX5100 (50HP) tractor. I have only used it a few times so far because my ground is still too wet to get my tractor into my woods to do some work. The few stumps I have ground, I have been 100% satisfied. It does everything as advertised. A wonderful and simple design to keep the construction and overall costs down. No need for additional hydraulics. Just lift it up, back it up, lower it down, and pull forward. Then repeat. I have seen some comments from other owners about the issue of seeing the cutter grind by turning around in your seat. A small price to pay for such a quality piece of machinery. With my tractor I can see everything fine, but can see where your neck might get tired after a long days work, but it isn't anything unusual, since I do the same while operating my post hole digger and using my box blade and land plane grader. Looking forward to getting a Woodland Mills chipper next.

The WG24 stump grinder is a great addition to my tree management tools. I have about 160 acres of woods/pasture and being able to take the stumps to below ground while using a smaller tractor works well for me. The machine is very tough and has handled projects all the way up to a 30 inch red oak

I don't normally write reviews, however I feel it is my obligation to other shoppers and to Woodland Mills to do one on this stump grinder. I have watched every video Woodland Mills and other owners have put on You Tube several times over. I am a cautious shopper of things I can't go kick the tires on. Living in an area that is well blessed with every kind of tree on earth, I would have spent 1/2-2/3 the price of this thing renting something to get rid of stumps (I have many) and been left with nothing when I was done. I decided to go ahead and order this thing. The people in Canada were helpful we each asked questions, they were knowledgeable, all good so far. I have a 3032E John Deere with a quick hitch. I had to move the top hook 1 bolt hole and this fit, no cutting the PTO shaft, it just fit like it should. After grinding about 20 stumps from 6 inches to nearly 30 inches, I have to say I don't recall being more impressed with anything I have ever bought. It works as good for me as it does on the videos. I think it's hard to find a really well built anything anymore, but this is one of the rare exceptions. It is well designed, simple but effective. The welds are impressive, what little maintenance there is, is easy to do. The grease fittings can be gotten to with without taking parts off, or standing on your head. I guess to sum this all up I would have to say, it works, and it works very well. thank you Woodland Mills. The day will come when I will need a chipper, I won't look anywhere else.

Great stump grinder! Goes anywhere on your tractor and grinds when you need it. My Kubota 3200 only bogged down when I try grinding too deep. I was able to grind 36 stumps in my yard in a few days. These stumps were mostly 3 feet wide or more. When you hit gravel, yes it dulls the blades quickly. The only drawback is from all the shavings building up around the stumps but I just used the front loader to move that.
