We just love our chipper. It is amazing how quickly it can reduce a pile of brush, and the compact nature of the result is notable. What would take several truck loads to remove with another chipper can be easily fit into a single truck. This alone is a big enough deal to cause comment. We are very impressed, and suspect we shall simply have to buy another one to handle all the work we can now tackle. Full speed ahead!

I'd be lying if I didn't say that the WC68 is all if not more than I expected. It's taken everything I have put in it (all oak so far) without a problem. The power in-feed is a must when chipping. I've rented plenty of chippers from 6" to 12" and it works just as well as the commercial ones whose name starts with a "V". I was hesitant to purchase the WC68 for my John Deere 3320 since the PTO HP rating (25) is at the bottom of the horsepower range but even with the big stuff the engine doesn't change it's tune. Thanks Woodland Mills for outstanding quality from purchase to shipment delivery to the machine itself!

I purchased the Woodland Mills stump grinder last December, but wasn't able to use it until this spring. With that said, after using the stump grinder and being so impressed with it I purchased the 6" chipper. Both products are very well made and get the job done. Five star rating for both products!

Wow, this thing is terrific! I've got 30 wooded acres to care for and I knew that leaving all the woody debris that produces around all over the place was not for me. Originally I was set on buying the competition... That is until I ran a thorough side by side comparison. The WC88 really stood out! Woodland Mills clearly thought through all the important details and, in my opinion, bested the competition as a result. Heavy flywheel... 1100 rpm rotation speed... Easy access clam-shell... 4 blades instead of 2 to even out load... even a built in saw holder! After my research was done, I knew that even though the price was a little more, this was the superior machine. I married my WC88 to a smallish-tractor (Kubota L3400 series) knowing full well I would not be chipping 8" wood (that's firewood around here!). This chipper calls for a larger PTO HP rating, but I've had no problem using my small tractor for what I bought it to do (YMMV). In my situation having a larger opening is be the way to go because of all the Y's in the branches I have to deal with. So far I couldn't be happier with my decision! Awesome machine Woodland Mills! Way to go! Very satisfied I went with the WC88!

I'm glad that I purchased the WC68 after reviewing other makes. I have not used the WC68 much because of the weather we are having in Pa. I'm getting to old to work in the rain and mud. The only chance I've had to use the WC68 it worked great. Just waiting for better weather.

After doing some major yard work, I found myself with a huge pile of brush and no place to put it. After examining various disposal options (dumpster, tree service), I decided that it would make sense for me to purchase a wood chipper. I did some on-line research, and this wood chipper stood out from the rest. I ordered the chipper on a weekend and it showed up on my doorstep by mid-week. The chipper came well packaged, and assembly was straight forward with easy to follow instructions; all-in-all, it took me about 3 hours to uncrate, assemble and mount the wood chipper to my tractor, including the time it took to trim the PTO shaft to the correct length. During assembly, one thing that I did notice is that a couple of the hydraulic fittings had not been properly tightened; not a big deal, just be sure to check all of the fittings before starting up the wood chipper for the first time. When I put the wood chipper to work, I was truly impressed. It chewed effortlessly through all different types of brush (cedar, spruce, maple, poplar), including limbs and logs up to 4” in diameter. In the span of an afternoon I reduced a 30 cubic yard pile of brush in to a much smaller mound of wood chips that I ultimately used to line a pathway through my woods. The wood chipper seems solidly constructed and I have no doubt that I will stand up to many years of tough service. When it comes to this wood chipper, my only regret is that I did not purchase one sooner. I’m completely satisfied with the purchase, and would recommend this wood chipper to others without reservation.

The WC88 Chipper delivers results as promised. The initial set up took under 2 hours. The Steel pallet and cage frame for shipping is genius for preventing shipping damage. I had mine delivered to work for fork lift off load, because the delivery vehicle was tractor trailer. On arrival there were two pieces of the in feed shoot hanging of the pallet. They were secured with large Zip Ties to the chipper main body, so you may want to secure the bottom of them as well. Although I don’t have many hours on the WC88 yet, I can tell this equipment has a long service life ahead of it and the performance thus far has exceeded my expectations. Scott Duckworth Coventry RI

Great product which works very well for reducing lots of branches into manageable piles of wood chips. I would have liked it if they had sent the hardware to assemble it along with the chipper, but a couple of trips to the hardware store fixed that.

It is amazing, the only thing is that in transport mode the shoot that folds up hits the out shoot so it doesn’t fold all the way.
