Phenomenal chipper. Chips pretty much anything you throw at it; pine, oak, and cedar are what I have chipped so far. It is very well built. We were victims of the Camp Fire and have been using this awesome chipper to help clean up the tree debris on our 3 properties. I have been using it now for 2 months and have been creating piles and piles of chips.

Well ,I really like this chipper. I’m using a kubota 3901 tractor to power it . I have found that with a 6 “ log and the feed on high I can stall my tractor. I’m around 30 hp at the power take off. A 50 hp tractor would work better but with the feed turned down to where it should be it works real well with the tractor I have. I’m a machinist so when I was looking to buy a chipper I liked the way it was designed. Best Regards, Gordon ! Milton,Vermont

I run my WC46 with my John Deere 1025r. I have no complaints. If you use the front loader with forks to unload the tractor trailer like I did, here’s a piece of advice: leave something on the back of the tractor for a counterweight. I had taken off the snowblower in advance to have the 3 point hitch ready for the chipper, and with the weight of the chipper and the metal crate it comes in, I was wishing I had a counterweight. I got it, but it was a little dicey. The instructions for assembly are thorough, no missing parts. I got a bucket of ISO46 hydraulic oil, and had a cordless bandsaw on hand to trim the PTO shaft. The instructions for that are also great. Once I got it operational, I couldn’t be happier with it. I run a 12” chipper at work too, and I’m still not disappointed with the power of this machine. You just have to know the limitations. Sometimes you’ll need a little relief cut so that the branches fold up a little easier, otherwise the power feed will lose its bite. I set the flow control to about 4, that takes about 1/4” chips, and it took a 4” maple sapling to finally bog the engine on the tractor. Once it ate up about 2 feet of the branch it was right back up to the proper RPM. I could probably slow the flow control a bit for bigger stuff like that to not bog down the engine, but I haven’t tried that yet. I’ve cleared about 6,000 sq ft of brush and smaller trees on my front bank and ran all the branches and vines etc right through the chipper. Overall, I’m very pleased with this chipper. It does what I need it to do with ease.

Very happy with our purchase , after ordering arrived within days (very impressive, Well crated to protect our investment . Alittle more assembly than I thought but instructions are good and no problems. Once assembled and filled with fluid had to try it out . Hooked to the tractor , trimmed the driveshaft and headed to the trees. Very impressed with its performance, operated just as advertised. Chews up branches and limbs nicely , i now see the importance of the hydraulic feeder , I can't imagine the self feed being able to keep up to this model. Over all this is a great chipper , a friend already borrowed it and he too is amazed how nice it works. For me the WC68 was the right choice and I highly recommend .

we have a small hobby farm and decided a wood chipper was needed. After doing a few searches on You Tube, we decided the WC88 looked to be more robust and looked to to be high quality. we decided this is what we were looking for. After receiving our chipper in early spring we had created several rather large brush piles and-were very eager to get to work on them. We weren't sure how fast the chipper would be able to take the brush in, so we set the feed rate at the number two setting. To our surprise, the chipper chipped the brush faster than we were able to feed it in. The chips were what i would classify as a FINE cut and looked very nice as a mulch around our flower gardens. I would recommend this and have recommended this chipper to others. we are happy with our purchase.
